Lala Moulaye Ezzedine is Chairman at Bank of Africa Côte d’Ivoire and member of the board of Bank of Africa-Burkina Faso SA and Agora SA.

 

Lala MOULAYE holds a first degree in business administration and began her career in 1987. She first joined the Bank Of Africa Côte d’Ivoire as Director of Operations and Development, quickly rose through the ranks and in 2007 became its CEO.

 

Lala Moulaye Ezzedine is the first woman to chair the board of directors of a bank in Côte d’Ivoire, after having been the first woman to manage a bank in the same country and is also the first to chair the Club des heads of African banks and credit institutions. She has been elevated since November 2012 to the rank of Knight of the National Order of Merit of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

 

She was listed in the second publication of 100 Most Influential African Women in 2020 by Avance Media.
