As the founder of IT firm Dux and the CEO of IHS Towers Côte d’Ivoire, Fatim Cissé is an entrepreneur, technologist, and the first Ivorian woman with an artificial intelligence degree.
Fatim Cissé’s journey into the world of technology began with a Master’s in Human Resources Management from HEC Montreal in Canada in 2010. Later, she earned a degree in management from Harvard Business School in 2016. In 2019, she achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first Ivorian woman to graduate from Singularity University’s Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence.
Her career commenced in 2005, working with renowned foreign firms such as Hewitt & Associates, Quintiles, and Centennial Marketing Group. In 2011, Fatim returned to Côte d’Ivoire, where she assumed a pivotal role as the head of the human resources division at Ericsson Côte d’Ivoire.
In 2018, driven by a passion to contribute to her country’s development, Fatim founded Dux, an IT firm specializing in making digital services more accessible for African businesses. Dux not only offers services in AI, cybersecurity, big data, and data science but also provides customized training courses for companies.
In 2020, she reached new heights by being appointed CEO of IHS Towers Côte d’Ivoire, a multinational telecom infrastructure company. Her expertise and dedication in the telecom sector have positioned her as a prominent figure in the industry.
In 2019, she received the prestigious title of Knight of the National Order of Côte d’Ivoire. Her outstanding contributions were further acknowledged in the first two editions of Who’s Who Côte d’Ivoire in 2019 and 2020, a testament to her status among the country’s top talents.
Fatim Cissé’s vision goes beyond individual success; she aims to “prepare African organizations for the 4th industrial revolution.” Dux, under her leadership, builds strong, trust-based partnerships with clients, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of technological solutions.
