Estelle Akofio-Sowah

Estelle Akofio-Sowah is a Ghanaian businesswoman who was born in Scotland. She is currently the CSquared Ghana Country Manager and has previously served as the Google Ghana country manager. She has also held the position of managing director at BusyInternet, a Ghanaian internet service provider.

 

Estelle received her education from the Ghana International School and the University of Sussex, where she earned a degree in Economics and Development Studies. She is also a Fellow of the second class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

 

In addition to her leadership roles, Estelle has worked as a conference and banquet manager at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, as well as a project manager for the National Poverty Reduction Program at ProNet, a local NGO partner to WaterAid UK. She was also the President of the Ghana Internet Service Providers Association.

 

Estelle was recognized as one of the Top 50 Corporate Women Leaders in Ghana in 2016 by WomanRising. When not working, Estelle enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
