Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey a Ghanaian Member of Parliament and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

 

She was a member of the ECOWAS Parliament and also served as Vice-Chair on the NEPAD & APRM Committees.

 

Before entering into frontline politics, Hon Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey ran a successful Marketing and Communications Company where she was a consultant for the Ministry of Tourism.

 

She is a product of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), the Pitman’s Central College, University of London and the University of Westminster all in the United Kingdom (UK).

 

She was listed in the second publication of 100 Most Influential African Women in 2020 by Avance Media.
