Her unwavering commitment lies in the early detection, education, and prevention of heart, vascular, and thoracic diseases in Nigeria. A trailblazer and author of several impactful review papers, Dr. Alli’s work addresses the specific burden of cardiovascular diseases among Africans. Notably, she has been recognized severally for her work with numerous awards, a testament to her exceptional contributions to healthcare.

 

Dr. Alli has consistently elevated the standards of cardiac care in Nigeria. As a founding member of the Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria (SQHN) and a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, her influence extends globally. Internationally recognized, she holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the American College of Cardiology and the American Association of Black Cardiologists, where she actively leads various working groups. Dr. Folasade Alli continues to shape the landscape of cardiology, championing health disparities, prevention, and providing visionary leadership in cardiovascular medicine in Nigeria and beyond.

 

Dr Alli is named among the 2023 List of 100 Most Influential African Women by Avance Media.
