Akyaa Afreh Arhin Addo-Kufuor

Akyaa Afreh Arhin Addo-Kufuor is a legal expert who currently serves as the secretary to the Board and Head of the Legal and Recovery Department of OmniBSIC Bank. She brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous roles, having been the Head of the Legal Department of Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited (now Access Bank) where she oversaw all legal matters pertaining to the bank.

 

Akyaa started her career at Dehands Services Limited, a subsidiary of Deloitte Ghana, where she provided legal secretarial services to various companies. She then went on to work as a senior legal consultant at a leading law firm in Ghana, where she was part of a team that advised the Millennium Development Authority, Ghana (MiDA) on the Compact signed between the Government of Ghana and the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the United States of America, which provided a facility of five hundred and forty-seven million dollars.

 

Akyaa is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from Temple University, USA, which she obtained in May 2000. In addition to her work at OmniBSIC Bank, she also serves as a member of the Council of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) and is the Secretary to the Presidential Committee on Emoluments of Article 71 Office Holders.
