Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, with over 25 years of proven track record in Senior Management positions. Her career spans various industries, including 9 years in the mining sector and another 9 years in manufacturing. Additionally, she has served in the power sector for 5 years, further enhancing her vast knowledge and capabilities.
Prior to her latest appointment, from 2001 to 2009, Djamson-Tettey held the position of Executive Director and Director of Corporate Relations at Diageo Ghana-Guinness Ghana Breweries (GGBL). She was also a valued member of the GGBL Executive team and served on the Board of Directors. During her tenure at GGBL, she was responsible for a wide range of activities, including Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategic Planning, Corporate Brand Reputation, Sustainable Development, and acting as a key spokesperson for the organization.
Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) degree in International Relations from the United States University of Herts, UK and San Diego California, USA (1982-1985). She also earned a postgraduate Diploma (Merit) in Politics and Diplomacy from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK (1985-1986) and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the same university (1986-1987). Furthermore, she is an accredited member of the Institute of Public Relations Ghana (IPR).
In her current role, as the Managing Director of GACL (Ghana Airports Company Limited), Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey brings a confident and well-networked approach fused with integrity. Her strategic acumen and exceptional interpersonal communication and language skills enable her to build sustainable relationships. She possesses excellent analytical skills, with a particular emphasis on Political Science, Government Relations, Community Relations, Environment, International Relations, and Diplomatic Protocols.
