Juliana Asante is a highly accomplished professional, serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Societe General Bank Ghana. With her background as a Chartered Accountant and Change Management Consultant, she brings a wealth of expertise to the boardroom.

 

With almost three decades of experience, Juliana has a proven track record of success in various aspects of financial accounting, risk management, and operational processes. Her skills have been instrumental in the origination, development, implementation, and improvement of financial systems and risk management frameworks.

 

Throughout her career, Juliana has held notable positions that have further honed her expertise. She began as a Senior Trainee Accountant/Auditor at Deloitte and Touche Ghana, where she gained valuable insights into auditing practices and financial management. She later served as the Finance Manager for Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University NHS Trust in the United Kingdom, where she successfully oversaw financial operations.

 

As a Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte Ghana, Juliana showcased her leadership and financial acumen by effectively managing audit engagements. Her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements has made her a trusted professional in the industry.

 

Currently, Juliana holds the position of Managing Director at Integritas Limited, a role in which she leverages her expertise in change management and financial transformation. She is also the Lead Consultant in strengthening and transforming Ashesi University’s Finance Function, contributing to its growth and attracting major investments from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

 

In addition, Juliana serves as a consultant for Arthur Energy Advisors, providing support for the Change Management Program and Improved Utility Performance for the Northern Electricity Distribution Company Limited. Her strategic insights and guidance have been instrumental in driving positive change and improved performance within the organization.

 

Recognized for her exceptional skill set and professional achievements, Juliana Asante was nominated to the board on 30 June 2021, with approval granted by the Bank of Ghana on 8 November 2021. Her extensive experience, combined with her deep understanding of finance, risk management, and change management, make her a valuable asset to the board and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

 

Juliana Asante is ranked in Avance Media’s Inaugural list of Top 100 Ghana’s Women Board Directors collated in partnership with Acreaty Ghana.
