Rosy Fynn is an accomplished change leader with extensive experience in International Development, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Consulting, and Insurance. With over a decade of executive-level experience, she has successfully transformed organizations across Africa, the United States, and the Caribbean. Currently, she serves as the Ghana Country Head at the Mastercard Foundation, where she leads the delivery of the Foundation’s Young Africa Works strategy, which aims to enable three million young Ghanaian women and men to access dignified and fulfilling work by 2030.

 

Prior to her current role, Rosy was the Chief Executive Officer of BusyInternet, a leading 4G internet provider in Ghana, where she oversaw the business’s digital transformation, earning her the prestigious Outstanding Telecommunication CEO of the Year award at the 2021 Entrepreneurs and Corporate Executive Awards. She has also held senior leadership positions in other organizations, including Bharti Airtel, Surfline Communications, and Millicom International Cellular (Tigo).

 

Rosy is passionate about empowering African youth and women and mentors young people across several organizations, including Sponsors for Education Opportunity (SEO) and Emerging Public Leaders. She is also an advocate for women in STEM and was recognized as one of the Top 30 women in STEM by the STEM Woman Project.

 

Rosy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA (honors) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Smith College, Massachusetts, USA. She is married with three children and enjoys running (having completed four competitive half marathons), playing basketball and golf, and riding motorbikes in her spare time.
